The journey begins with a day tour to Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage site famed for its fairy-tale palaces, lush gardens, and historic charm. Explore highlights like the colorful Pena Palace, the medieval Moorish Castle, and the whimsical Quinta da Regaleira before heading to Porto to start our walk.
Experience Portugal and Spain’s scenic trails along the Camino Portugués Coastal Route. From Porto, traverse Portugal’s Atlantic coastline, visiting fishing villages, golden beaches, and natural parks. Highlights include the Sanctuary of Santa Luzia, ancient settlements in A Guarda, and the serene Monastery of Santa María de Oia, ending the first leg in Baiona.
From Baiona to Santiago de Compostela, walk through lush forests, historic towns, and tranquil countryside, with stops in Pontevedra’s old town, Caldas de Reis, and Padrón. The pilgrimage concludes at the majestic Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, blending natural beauty, history, and spiritual reflection for an unforgettable journey.
We will be a small group, incorporating yoga and mindfulness into our trip.
Lodging is upgraded hotels (inc. Paradores), or bed and breakfasts. All rooms are private double rooms (2 beds) with a private bathroom. Pricing is per person double occupancy.
Dinners are 3 course meals, typically served with wine.
A guided tour of approx. 3 hours through the most popular bars in the historic centre of Santiago, tasting tapas and local drinks with an official guide.
